Hungarian
Americans meet where everyone else meets. They go to church,
attend special events, eat
out, and celebrate holidays
together. Some are also are involved in organizations focused on Hungarian interests
and issues. Here are some of the better-known groups. You can expect that they

Among the more interesting
of the online groups is Hungarians
on the Net, a significant collection of international members discussing all
varieties of Hungarian matters. You'll find a fuller description of their group
in the directory below. It has some fantastic links, and is fairly active.
Maybe
starting your own group is the way to go. Enjoy your culture together. Below are
several books that aren't so much about how to start a group, but are about how
to organize events and meetings, and how to entertain guests. You may prefer something
as simple as getting together over coffee to talk Hungarian, or something elaborate,
like a monthly meeting in which you discuss the European Union's impact on the
